Archaeologists in Colombia have retrieved the primary objects from the fabled San José galleon, a wreck often called the “Holy Grail of shipwrecks” as a consequence of its sheer quantity of treasure.
The galleon, which sank within the Caribbean Sea in 1708 throughout an assault by a British fleet, has been the topic of intense scrutiny and worldwide disputes because it was found in 2015.

On Thursday, Colombia’s tradition ministry introduced that archaeologists have recovered a porcelain cup, three cash and a cannon from the positioning.
