Venice is a residential, business, and leisure beachfront neighborhood inside Los Angeles, California. It’s situated throughout the city area of western Los Angeles County generally known as the Westside.
Venice was based in 1905 as a seaside resort city. It was an unbiased metropolis till 1926, when it merged with Los Angeles. Right now, Venice is thought for its canals, seashores, and the circus-like Ocean Entrance Stroll, a two-and-a-half-mile (4.0 km) pedestrian promenade that options performers, fortune-tellers, artists and distributors. Within the latter half of the 2010s, the neighborhood has confronted extreme gentrification that raised real-estate costs and pushed out many long-term inhabitants.
